Overview:
Private Practice Experience
Gary came to Faribault in 1980. He has been in private practice as a general practitioner of law since then, and he joined Virtus Law as an of-counsel attorney in 2021. Gary’s services for his clients have encompassed a broad spectrum of legal matters involving personal, family, and business related legal issues and disputes. Gary has helped his clients with a wide variety of matters that have included real estate law, family law, estate planning, personal injury claims, probate and trust administration, landlord/tenant matters, construction law, along with other litigation and transactional matters.
Public Sector Service
Gary served as a part-time Public Defender for Rice County from 1980 to 1994. Gary was also a part-time Administrative Law Judge and Child Support Magistrate for the State of Minnesota from 1994 to 1999. He also taught as an Adjunct Professor at the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas teaching a semester long survey course topic in Business Law for its Graduate Business Management Program from 2006 to 2014. Mr. Voegele was also general legal counsel for Rice County District One Hospital in Faribault from 1997 through 2016. Gary remains active as a member of the No-Fault Arbitration Panel for no-fault automobile insurance claims. Gary has acted in this capacity from 1985 to the present.
