On September 17, 2020, Governor Greg Abbott announced an easing of restrictions in some business areas due to a dramatic drop in hospitalized COVID-19 patients. Specifically, restaurants are allowed to increase to 75% capacity and gyms may increase capacity. Further, the ban on elective surgeries and nursing home visits has been eased. Bars remain closed in Texas, and the mask mandate remains in place, however.
Virtus Law, PLLC continues to monitor developments in this (and other COVID-19 areas) and will continue to post relevant updates to this website.
