Dallas attorney, Candace M. Groth, is speaking on data privacy at the State Bar of Texas Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas. Candace will be speaking during the Appellate Law Section and Civil Liberties & Civil Rights Section program on the morning of June 14, 2019.
Candace’s presentation will focus on the government’s right to search computers, cell phones, and other digital devices, with an emphasis on the Border Search Exception to the Fourth Amendment warrant requirement. The presentation will also include practical tips for attorneys and other business travelers regarding protecting their confidential information.
